Match Preview | Olympique Mayonnaise

Barnes look to turn last weeks 1-1 draw into 3 points this weekend as they host Olympique Mayonnaise.

After coming from behind to earn a point through Nunos goal last weekend manager Tom Jackson is feeling positive about his side getting a win.

“We go into this weekend's fixture on the back of a tightly fought 1-1 draw in the opening weekend of the season. This week we look to improve upon the result and will be aiming to score even more goals to clinch win.”

Two potential new signings in Paul and Callum could feature this weekend and Tom hopes both players will have a positive impact on the side on both ends of the pitch.

“I'm looking forward to handing league debuts to Paul and Callum after George made his competitive debut for us last weekend. Hopefully Callum can help us to keep a clean sheet and Paul to contribute with the goals!”

Another new side awaits Barnes Stormers this weekend and after last weeks 3-0 defeat the opposition will definitely be looking to bounce back and the gaffer is well aware of the challenge that lays ahead.

“In Olympique Mayonnaise, we face another new team to the division and another new challenge. Whilst we don't know our opposition's style of play, we won't let that stop us from playing our way as we aim to improve our possession game and ultimately create more clear cut chances for the forwards to hopefully slot home.”

“Trainings been good” Tom told barnesstormersfc.com and hoped the team can use what they’ve done in the training and put it into the match.

“We've done alot of work on the training pitch this week and I'm hoping for it to all pay off in what should be a fantastic second league fixture of 20/21 season.”
