GENERAL INFORMATION

Barnes Stormers FC is an LGBTQ+ friendly, England Accredited football club and offers football across the week in several different formats. All our sessions are run via an called Spond, all players are required to donwload and register with the app to reserve their spot on a first come first served basis. Unforunately due to capacity limits, those turning up without having reserved their spot may be turned away. See below for further details:

Wednesday - Social (5/6 A Side)
This is a fun but competitive session where we aim for 3 teams of 5 or 6 players each to play several short games rotating over the course of the 2 hours. Attendees are encouraged to wear moulded studs (no blades) and regulars are expected to purchase a reversible orange/blue bib (available for sale on the day) or bring two separate similarly coloured shirts.

Thursday - Social (9 A Side)
The club arranges regular 9 A Side friendlies against teams based in Feltham at a lovely big 3G pitch at Springwest Academy. This is social but competitive football session against friendly teams. Attendees are encouraged to wear moulded studs (no blades) and regulars are expected to purchase a reversible orange/blue bib (available for sale on the day) or bring two separate similarly coloured shirts.

Friday - Training (anything from 8 to 11 A Side)
The club hires a nice 9 A Side pitch every Friday. We either use it as a social/training match open to all club members or play a friendly against another club. Attendees are encouraged to wear moulded studs (no blades) and regulars are expected to purchase a reversible orange/blue bib (available for sale on the day) or bring two separate similarly coloured shirts. These matches are also run via our Facebook group, request to join and register your interest.

Sunday - League (11 A Side)
Our Sunday League team plays in the Southern Sunday Football League (SSFL). Teams in the league are based across South London from Raynes Park to Clapham to Barnes. Players are registered to the club and league and anyone looking to join will be asked to attend a training session or two before signing up and playing in a league or cup match.
