Barnes fought back from 2 goals down to earn a point at Brockwell park as the Stormers maintain their unbeaten start to the season.
The home side started strong and took the lead early on after a good cross from the right, a deflection off Harri Morgan saw the ball steer into the bottom corner.
The home side continued to dominate in the early stages and doubled their lead inside the half an hour mark. A ball played through from the left hand side found the right winger who slotted past Rob Jones.
From that point onwards Barnes improved and responded almost straight away. Mo had missed a few chances before but found some luck when the ball fell to him as he beat his defender and slotted smartly past the keeper to half the deficit.
The second half became tense as both team looked for the all important 4th goal. The home side went close hitting the post and having a penalty waved away by the referee.
It looked all over but with 5 minutes to go a long throw in from Jake caused trouble for the defence of St Matthews before it was steered home by Harri Morgan with his head.
A point earned on the road, next up Chelsea Rovers.
